Who Am I?

 

I am Chi Upsilon Sigma

I was born in 1980 in New Jersey.

I was incorporated April 29, 1980.

I was seven young founders old,

University women - courageous and bold.

 

I am Chi Upsilon Sigma - A Sisterhood

With love and concerns for each neighborhood.

I am open to women of high ideals.

Who serve mankind in all fields?

 

I am Chi Upsilon Sigma - A Greek letter organization.

The First Independent Latin Sorority in our nation

Concerned with “Wisdom,” I strive to be the best,

I lead the way and challenge all the rest.

 

I am Chi Upsilon Sigma - Great things have I done,

My program projects have startled some;

Things that few would have dared to do,

I ventured out and succeeded, too.

 

My motto “Wisdom through Education” I've learned.

Red, Black and Beige - my colors I yearn.

My symbol “Owl” means wisdom.

These symbols we dedicate with true assurance.

 

I am Chi Upsilon Sigma - Continuing to strive with committed women - my projects still thrive

I will always keep my torch burning bright.

Leading the way with my guiding light.
